High-technologies

Electrical switchgear

Electrical switchgear

The electrical distributors for the woodworking machines of the Homag Group are a virtually continuous production. These welded and assembled assemblies include parts that go through virtually all operations in the production process. High quality requirements are placed on the electrical distributors in terms of overall design, dimensional accuracy and level of tightness. The high level of functional tightness is regularly confirmed by laboratory testing and associated certification.

Control panels

Control panels and swivel arms are another typical group of parts regularly supplied for the final assembly of Homag Group machines. Emphasis is placed on precision machining operations on the functional parts of the assemblies and precise assembly.

Exhaust systems

Exhaust systems

Exhaust system elements are used in woodworking machines most often to remove chips and sawdust. They require high precision welding of specific shape assemblies.

Enclosure

The Light Fabrication designation is common to Caterpillar, Unac and Hamm. It is generally a thin sheet cladding that is often highly visible on the finished product. In addition to dimensional accuracy, therefore, extreme emphasis is placed on a flawless finish.

Oil tanks

Oil tanks

Oil tanks are one of the typical parts supplied for Hamm construction machines. Extraordinary demands are placed on the tightness of the tank and the welded joints, which is verified on every piece produced by a leak test.

Stairs and toolboxes

In addition to enclosures, stairs, treads and toolboxes are produced in large volumes for Caterpillar in particular, and must meet extraordinary requirements for the quality of welded joints and surface finish. Other highly functional products such as structures for fuel and cooling systems are manufactured for construction machinery.
